Why copywriting courses won’t make you coin

Boom — we just helped one of our students reach $7k/mo in their copywriting business…

After coaching them through a process for converting an agency gig into a retainer 😎 💰

Sidenote:

THIS is why I put coaching, support, and feedback at the CORE of everything I do.

Courses / infoproducts are great for the creator…

But MANY students slip through the cracks.

Instead, with an experienced eye looking over everything…

(Or in this case, ‘eyes’ plural — since I coach alongside Adil Amarsi, the Underground A-lister)

We were able to create a custom path for this copywriter to follow to see results.

There’s no course that would’ve helped here.

(There are many ways to convert one-off projects from an agency -> a large retainer, but not all make sense given different contexts)

Bottom line…

THIS is why we deep dive with ALL our mentees.

Instead of shoving people into a FB group that’s bursting at the seams, where the coaches don’t know you from a bar of soap…

We get to know our students INTIMATELY.

We truly understand their strengths, their weaknesses, their goals, etc.

And in this instance:

The biggest opportunities in their business for fast growth.

(Our student literally pulled a retainer deal out of ‘thin air’ because of this…)

Nothing we do is cookie-cutter.

So is it really a surprise that copywriters who come to us win big?

(There’s oodles more proof to back up that claim on my FB wall)
